The Centre for Psychological and Counselling Support of Democritus University of Thrace (KEPSYSY-DUTH) provides psychological and counselling support aimed at preventing mental health problems among members of the university community, particularly undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students.
KEPSYSY-DUTH is staffed by psychologists and social workers. Its headquarters are located in Komotini, while it also maintains an office in Alexandroupoli. Its operation is coordinated by a Scientific Committee consisting of five faculty members specialising in psychiatry, psychology, and social work.
