The Internship is an optional educational activity included in the Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Accounting and Finance.

It lasts three (3) months and may be undertaken after completion of the 6th semester, during periods when classes are not in session.
The Internship does not carry ECTS credits.
Students may undertake their internship in organisations within either the public or private sector.
They also have the opportunity to complete their internship in companies and organisations abroad through relevant European programmes.
The Department has an Internship Committee, which assists students in identifying suitable internship placements.
Through the Internship, students have the opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired during their studies in a real professional environment.
At the same time, they become familiar with the requirements of the labour market, develop professional and collaborative skills, and gain valuable work experience.
This experience can also help students identify the professional fields that best match their interests and future career aspirations.
Upon completion of the Internship, the required supporting documents are submitted to the Department Secretariat for its formal recognition.
